Eunice police report arresting David LeBlanc, 26, of the 400 block of La. 178, Church Point, on Friday on a bench warrant for Allen Parish on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A 62-year-old man was threatened with a shotgun then beaten with the gun in an attempted armed robbery at about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Nimitz Street, Eunice police report.
The victim was treated and released at Acadian Medical Center.
