Andrus, Marcantel set July wedding date

Tom and Rachel Andrus of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leah Andrus, to Seth Marcantel, son of Jacob Fontenot, and the late Mechelle Fontenot of Eunice.
Miss Andrus is the granddaughter of Leona Berken of Welsh and the late Herman Berken, and the late Barney and Addie Andrus of Eunice.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School, LSU Eunice, and Nicholls State University. She played for the LSUE Bengals and Nicholls State Colonels.
She is currently employed as a teacher and softball coach at Iota High School.
Mr. Marcantel is the grandson of Deleno and Linda Marcantel, Valley and Maggie Vidrine, and Chester and Mary Fontenot, all of Eunice.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School and LSU Eunice. He played high school football and baseball. He is currently employed with Full Service Maintenance.
The couple will exchange vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Friday, July 15, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice.
