Bulb & Blossom Garden Club chooses Beauty, Business and Residential Yards

At Left, The Optometrists Business of Drs. Miller & Miller at 350 Moosa Blvd. received the marker of Business Yard of the Month from Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club volunteer member Lynn Venable. Above, Dr. J.D. “Jay” Miller Jr. stands by the marker and a flowering bed of crepe myrtles, Knock Out roses, pansies, snap dragons, sasanquas, Lily of the Nile, petunias, amaryllis, Indian Hawthornes, Ornamental cabbage and day lilies. At right, the residence of Farrel and Angie Fontenot at 1415 Amazon was chosen by volunteer member Judith Copeland of the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club as Residential Garden of the Week. The front lawn is landscaped with flowering beds of cannas, ground cover, larioppe, Witch Hazel, potted begonias and marigolds, Live Oak, ferns, and a potted palm.
