Children's Choir of French Immersion will perform April 30

The children’s choir of the French Immersion Program at Prairie Elementary School in Lafayette (La Chorale en Français de Prairie) will perform at 11 a.m. on April 30 at the Chapelle Country Store at Le Village, 121 Seale Lane, Eunice, in conjunction with the free children’s game day and Wishing Doll Session.
The choir will also perform at the Jean Lafitte Prairie Acadian Cultural Center at 1:30 p.m.
Members are second-third-and fourth-graders of Prairie Elementary Lafayette French Immersion Program. The choir coaches (Sabrina Benazzouz, Jean-Philippe Warlet and Sophie Zaoui) are from Belgium and France. They practice exclusively French songs in various styles. They will also perform at Festival International of Lafayette, at Lafayette Public Libraries and at the Horse Farm Market in Lafayette Central Park.
