Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is Logyn Layne Soileau, a freshman at St. Edmund High School. Her mother is Courtney Frey.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Paris, to learn French and see how their culture is unique.

Do you have a career wish? Yes. I desire to become a marine biologist.

What could you eat seven days a week? Chccolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.

What could you never eat? Cheddar peppers.

What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is Physical Science, and my favorite teacher is Kasey Marcantel.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

What was the last video game you played? Call of Duty.

Do you Facebook, Tweet? Yes, I tweet everytime I see an inspiring quote.

What is an ideal summer vacation? My ideal vacation is to travel around the world to learn about other cultures.

Who has the most influence on you so far? My mom.

What would you change in your city? I love where I live.

What do you like the most at your school? How well I adapted and the way people accepted me as a (somewhat) new girl. I moved to Lafayette after sixth grade and I moved back just to be at St. Edmund again in high school. I even got the incredible honor of being on homecoming court this year.
