Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is Jailyn Papillion, a senior at Eunice High School. Her parents are Jimmy and Annetta Papillion.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From what I’ve seen, it is beautiful and I love their culture and customs.

Do you have a career wish? I would like to become a veterinarian.

What could you eat seven days a week? Steak, or any type of protein. I love meat.

What could you never eat? Cottage cheese.

What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is math and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Sonnier.

What is your favorite movie? I watch too many movies, and I have too many favorites.

What was the last video game you played? “Call of Duty.”

Do you Facebook, Tweet? I Facebook about once a week.

What is an ideal summer vacation? A trip to Hawaii as long as a volcano does not erupt.

Who has the most influence on you so far? God, my parents and my teachers.

What would you change in your city? If I could change anything in my city, it would be the gas prices. It would be high enough so people could keep their jobs in the oil field, but low enough to keep citizens happy.

What do you like the most at your school?
I love that Eunice High offers classes with college credit. It prepares us for college.
