Earth Day recognized at Highland Elementary

First grade cultural arts students at Highland Elementary took a nature walk around campus on Earth Day. They were surprised to find that recent strong winds had blown an entire tree down in the front area of campus. However, they were excited to explore the massive pine tree and its different parts.
