East Elementary welcomes new teachers

Principal Dwanetta Scott welcomes Katie Murphy as its new kindergarten teacher at East Elementary. Murphy is a 2010 graduate of Church Point High, and recently earned her Bachelor’s degree of Science in Elementary Education from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Murphy, from Richard, is the daughter of Burley and Karen Murphy.

Principal Dwanetta Scott welcomes Brittany Randell as its newest fourth-grade ELA teacher at East Elementary. Randell is a 2005 graduate of Basile High School, and the mother of two sons, Da’Shawn and Haiden Randell. She graduated from UL of Lafayette in May with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. Randell performed her internship at Glendale Elementary under Lynda Perrodin.
