Highland Elementary lists Read To Success winners

Highland Elementary students Maryanne Nicholas, third-grader; Kaylee Gaspard, second-grader; and Justin St. Julien, fourth-grader. were awarded with NOOK readers along with a $10 gift card from Barnes & Noble as part of St. Landry Parish School’s Read to Succeed Program.
Second-third,-and fourth-graders are chosen in the Accelerated Reader program who have met eligibility guidelines and placed in a drawing. Students meeting criteria each grading period qualify for three entries in the drawing. At the end of the fourth grading period a name was drawn for each grade level to determine the student to be awarded the NOOK reader.
