Honorary Irving Dancers to open with "Applause"

The Eunice Players’ Theatre is preparing for its 44th Annual Irving Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Northwest Community Center in Eunice.
This year’s theme for the Irving Awards is “Krewe de Irvings” and the honorary group of Irving Dancers will open the ceremony with an upbeat dance to “Applause”.
The Irving Awards honors all the 2013 participants of the 44th season and it is by invitation only. The shows that are up for awards include: “The Glass Menagerie”, directed by Jody L. Powell; “Tuesdays With Morrie”, directed by Liz Bryan and Ching Wasmuth; and “The 39 Steps”, directed by Debi L. Crawford. The two summer shows; “Always...Patsy Cline” and “The Trial of Goldilocks” will also be acknowledged for their participation.
The honorary Irving Dancers include Victoria Heinen, Zoe’ Berzas, Victoria Ardoin, Anna Heinen, Logan Landry, Kynzlie Fuselier, Kelsey Courville, Robbi Palmer, Brooke Aguillard, Preslea Laird, Olivia Fuselier and Katherine Sittig. Choreography is by Oliva Dodd and London Dodd Vidrine of Oliva Dodd’s Studio of Dance.
Season tickets to the 45th season will go on sale starting Monday, Feb. 24 and can be purchased from any theatre board member, David’s Hair Salon, 546-0163, or Turning Point, 457-2156.
A $20 season ticket entitles the holder to three shows, reservation phone line and an invitation and voting privileges to the annual Irving Awards.
