International Day at St. Edmund Elementary

St. Edmund Elementary sixth-graders celebrated International Day Thursday. The students’ end-of-the-year Social Studies projects were displayed at the Jeanmard Center. Students were required to participate and choose a country in the world, write book report, and create a visual project model of chosen country, dress the part of the native country, and prepare a native dish from chosen country.
Some Countries represented by the students included Germany, Mexico, Egypt, Japan, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Senegal, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Brazil.
