Johnson, Ward announce October wedding date

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnson of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Victoria Nicole Johnson, to Mr. Corey Joseph Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Ward of Eunice.
Miss Johnson is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pearl Guidroz and the late Mr. Herman Guidroz, of Arnaudville, and Ms. Hilda Johnson of Laurel, Miss.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Comeaux High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently the Marketing Administrator for Data Technology Solutions. She is also the owner of Southern Designs a free-lance graphic design business.
Mr. Ward is the grandson of Mr. Lawrence Schambaugh and the late Mrs. Verdie Schambaugh of Eunice, and the late Walker Ward and Lou Anna Ward of Eunice.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School. Mr. Ward obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently employed with Shell.
The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Friday, October 3 at seven o’clock in the evening at St. John’s Cathedral in Lafayette. A reception will follow at River Oaks.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Broussard.
