A Le Cafe Cajun topic at LSU

As part of LSU Eunice OLLI, a Le Cafe Cajun’s topic was held April 15. A discussion among the group was what toys and playthings they had as children. Margaret Ardoin shows the group small toys they enjoyed as children. Shown are jacks, jump rope, slingshot, button on a string, and spool of thread with pencil and rubber band as a car. The group told stories about their favorite toy. They discussed how they played in groups and against each other. They described how they made their own toys, such as corn cob darts, sling shots, pop guns, etc. It was a fun meeting in English and French. (Submitted Photo)
