Lejeune, Cormier announce October wedding date

Jonathan and Lechia Fontenot Lejeune of Eunice announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jori Lejeune, to Jeremy Cormier, son of Edwin and Liz Cormier of Mermentau.
Miss Lejeune is the granddaughter of Kermit and Nita Lejeune of Eunice, Eva Fontenot and the late Ison Fontenot of Eunice.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School, LSU Eunice and Penn Foster University. She was a softball pitcher for four years, and a member of the Renaissance Club.
She is employed at Naturally Mama in Eunice.
Mr. Cormier is the grandson of Percy Cormier, Sr. and the late Ethel Cormier of Jennings and the late J.U. and Amy Fruge of Jennings.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Hathaway High School and is employed by Woodgroup of Lafayette.
The couple will exchange vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, October 24 at La Belle Venue in Eunice.
