Mayor guest at East Elementary Century 21 program

East Elementary’s Century 21st Tutorial program’s second and third-graders welcomed a special guest speaker Tuesday, their very own mayor. Mayor Moody spoke to the small group about the importance of getting an education. He also welcomed a question/answers forum which led to his education background, family, and Mayoral duties. Mayor Moody said, “We all have one thing in common, a desire and goal to achieve. I encourage you to learn as much as possible, always do your homework, pay attention in school, and make good grades. If you do all of this you will excel.”
