Mr. and Miss Highland Elementary chosen

Fourth-graders Lindsey Kosack and James West were named Miss and Mr. Highland at the conclusion the school’s awards program held Thursday. Mr. and Miss Highland students are fourth grade students who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher during the school term, no suspensions, enrolled 80 percent during the school year, display great character, citizenship, and active in school functions and performs excellent in school district and state achievements. The two, a boy and girl, are voted upon by faculty and staff. Kosack’s teacher is Monique Smith and West’s teacher is Neesha Miller. Principal at Highland Elementary is Lorie LeDoux.
