New teachers at Eunice Elementary
Eunice Elementary welcomes its new teachers this year. From left, are Kimberley Gaspard, Lindsay LaFleur and Cathy Moffitt. Gaspard arrives at Eunice Elementary with 15 years in education system. Prior to teaching at Eunice Elementary Gaspard taught 10 years at South Street in Opelousas. Her first teaching post was in Lake Charles. She is a graduate of McNeese State and married to Robert Gaspard for the past 20 years and has two chilren. She is teaching special education resource. LaFleur is a second-grade English language arts teacher. She is a 2011 Basile High graduate, and earned her associates degree from LSUE. She continued her education as part of the 2+2 program and graduated from UL Lafayette in May of this year. Moffitt is a second-grade ELA, science and social studies second grade teacher. Moffitt has been educator for the past 14 years and resides in Eunice. She is married to Chuck and is the mother of a son Matt. The principal at Eunice Elementary is Mary Dupre. (Photo Submitted)
