Ogea crowned Duck Fest Queen
Emily Ogea of Eunice was crowned the 2015 Duck Festival Queen Saturday at the Gueydan Duck Festival queen pageant. With all festival excitement in the air the crowd held their breath for the 2015 Duck Festival Queen to be crowned. The contest started with nine then came down to four beautiful young ladies, in the end, the crown was placed on Emily Paige Ogea. The 20-year-old, four foot ten inch beauty, is a McNeese State University student majoring in mass communications. Ogea wore a beautiful beige evening gown with gold accents with her beauty shining and sparking through the rays of sunshine pouring in on the stage she had tears of joy. The 2014 Queen Tayor Trahan placed the prestigious crown on her head. Making the top four and the 2015 Duck Festival Queen’s Court are, first runner up; Sybil Duncan, second runner up; Morgan Tyler and third runner up; Halie Winch. (Submitted Photo)
