Penny War at Eunice High School

EHS students raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Eunice High School students raised $1,355 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during the week of Feb. 2-6 by hosting a Penny War. During a Penny War, the value of pennies collected by a group count positively, while the value of other coins or dollar bills is subtracted. The sophomore class won the “war.” Pictured, sitting in front from left, freshman Victoria Ardoin, junior Shauntella Gallow, seniors Heidi Pitre, A.P.
