Pre-k "Rise and Shine" at Highland Elementary

Highland Elementary held its end-of-the-year pre-kindergarten celebration Wednesday.
The students performed on-stage for parents and family members.
On the program were a variety of songs, sang by the pre-k class. Some included: “Rise and Shine,” “Macarena,” and “The World is a Rainbow,”
Pre-k students entertained the audience with “Months of the Year, Days of the Week, Rudy Rectangle, A is for Apple, R.E.D. Red, B.L.U.E. Blue.”
Pre-k students are Kayla Butler, Shone Ceaser, Eden Colonagosta, Cameron Freeman, Kayleigh Fuselier, Wesley Guillory, Kamri Johnwell, Khloe Leger, Jahlinda Poullard, Addison Prejean, Jordan Reed, Jayson Savoy, Brianna Shilow, Kelani Sittig, Joseph Thibodeaux, De’Zira Thomas, Elizabeth Vazuez, Alayah Watson and Darrien White.
Pre-k teachers are Jaimie Lavergne and Mary Frank.
Principal at Highland Elementary is Lorie Ledoux.
