Pre-teens and teens at Faith House program

Leah Walker, 12, learns to craft and create a ring from wire by watching Angelle Bellard of Faith House of Acadiana. Bellard presented a two-day free Summer program for girls 12-17 which included: Setting healthy boundaries, Developing healthy relationships, positive responses to bullying, how can you help a friend in an abusive relationship, developing self-esteem, and much more. The girls also enjoyed creating crafts, playing games, and had the opportunity to win prizes. Healthy snacks and lunch was provided. The program was held at Ruby’s Restaurant & Courtyard.
