Reed, Fruge announce December wedding date

Wendell and Melissa Reed of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brenda Victoria Reed, to Lance Othelan Fruge, son of the late Deaton Fruge, and Bobbie and Dean Fontenot of Eunice.
Miss Reed is the granddaughter of Sylvia Marcantel of Eunice, the late Merlin Marcantel, the late Rosemary R. Burnett and the late Curry Reed.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School and earned an associates degree in computer information technology from Louisiana State University Eunice. She is currently employed with Fred’s Super Dollar.
Mr. Fruge is the grandson of James and Clara Fruge of Eunice, B.L. Miller of Eunice and the late Viola Miller, and the late Harry and Rena Begnaud of Lake Charles.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School and is employed at Today’s Technology.
The couple will exchange vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony on Friday, Dec. 20 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice.
