Richard, Cormier crowned Eunice Queens during pageant

Maggie Richard, 16-year-old daughter of Donnie and Michele Richard of Eunice, won the new title of Miss Eunice during Saturday evening’s annual Miss Eunice & Teen Miss Eunice contest. Receiving the crown of Teen Miss Eunice is Madison Cormier, 14-year-old daughter of Kevin Cormier and Tina Cormier of Eunice. The pageant, sponsored by Junior Auxiliary of Eunice, was held Saturday evening at the LSU Eunice Health & Technology building.
Richard is a junior at St. Edmund High School and Cormier is an eighth-grader at St. Edmund School.
Receiving Miss Congeniality in the Miss Eunice category was Patricia Hull and Madison Cormier won the honor of Teen Miss Eunice Congeniality.
A People’s Choice award, voted by the audience, as their favorite contestant went to Richlynn Prather, a contestant in the Teen Miss Eunice.
First runner up in the Miss Eunice went to Victoria Estilette and second runnerup was Courtney Ceasar.

Victoria Estilette, 18, daughter of Crystal Pedigo Andrus and Jeff Estilette, senior at Eunice High School
Patricia Hull, 16, daughter of Robin and Lee Hull, sophomore at St. Edmund High School
Maggie Richard, 16, daughter of Donnie and Michele Richard, junior at St. Edmund High School
Lynzi Trosclair, 17, daughter of Shelly Fontenot and Tommy Trosclair, junior at Eunice High School.
