Schools registrations, open house scheduled in Eunice

Eunice public schools will open for first day of school on Aug. 11.
St. Edmund students return for their first day of school on Aug. 10.
Orientation for St. Edmund Pre-k parents is set Aug. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. Kindergarten through eighth-grade will have open house for parents Aug. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m.
School registrations have been set. The following are registration dates and times:
Eunice High-Monday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. for 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Freshmen will register Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Eunice High orientation is set for Aug. 9 at 1:30 p.m.
All students are required to have a copy of their household recent electric bill to register.
Registration fee is $75.
Central Middle School-Tuesday inside the school’s cafeteria from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. for fifth graders; and from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. for sixth graders.
Registration fee is $40. Open campus orientation day for students and parents is Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. inside the cafeteria. Fifth and sixth-graders are welcomed.
Highland Elementary-Pre-registration for returning students as well as new students zoned for Highland is set for Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. for kindergarten, first and second graders. Third and fourth-graders can register Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Proof of residency, birth certificate and updated shot record are required at registration. School fee is $20 at registration. Late fee of $25, after Aug. 10.
Highland will have an open house on Thursday from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.
Eunice Elementary- Will have registration for new students until Friday. To register, parent must bring proof of parental/legal guardian’s residence, child’s shot record and child’s birth certificate.
On Aug. 11 Eunice Elementary teachers and staff will meet and greet students and parents from 7 until 7:45 a.m.
Eunice Junior High-for current EJHS students and students coming from Central Middle, registration is set for Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All other students, registration will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Registration fee is $65. Must bring a copy of proof of residency. Needed a current residence’ utility bill.
No copies will be made at school.
