Some "Synergy" going on at Central Middle

Synergy at Central Middle

Central Middle School "Synergy" Awareness

Central Middle School held their first Synergy Awareness kick-off on Feb. 28. The project is designed for creating a greater effectiveness between teachers, students, and faculty by working together as team players with positive cooperation. Its goal is to promote happy and positive energy, and to keeping it going throughout the campus. The official Synergy Program Kick-Off was held on Monday, March 10. Students were allowed to wear neon and brightly colored clothing, showing their electric positive energy. Each week, the most positive teacher will be awarded the “Synergy Stick”, and that teacher will be able to give out “synergy cents”, which are coupons that students can earn for exhibiting positive behavior. Students will be able to “cash in” for incentives once per six weeks for rewards - free dress days, time in game room, and special celebrations. The first “Synergy Stick” winner was Cynthia Hollier. Next week, Hollier will pass the torch along to another positive teacher.
