Sonnier, Ardoin announce September wedding date

Dale and Angie Sonnier and Henry and Melissa Luke, all of Ville Platte, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, LeeAnne Nell Sonnier, to Matthew Bailey Ardoin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Ardoin of Vidrine.
Miss Sonnier is the granddaughter of Mackie Fuselier and the late John Rapheal Fuselier of Point Blue, Berdine Sonnier and the late Taylor Sonnier of Belaire Cove.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Ville Platte High School and earned an Associates of Science degree in Nursing at LSU Eunice. Her plans are to graduate from NSU with a Baccaluareate of Science in Nursing this year and later pursue a Masters degree in Nursing.
Miss Sonnier is employed at Acadian Medical Center in (ER) in Eunice.
Mr. Ardoin is the grandson of Clayton Young and the late Loretta Young of Mamou, Eldon and Margie Chapman of Belaire Cove, Norma Ardoin and the late Ray Ardoin of Vidrine.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Mamou High School and is employed with ENI Offshore Services.
The couple will exchange vows during a 7:15 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, September 20 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier.
