St. Edmund School names its Teachers of Year

Michelle LeJeune, St. Edmund High Teacher of the Year

Dana M. Landry, St. Edmund Elementary Teacher of the Year

St. Edmund High School Teacher of the Year recipient is Michelle LeJeune.
LeJeune is a 7th, 9th, and 11th grade Religion teacher.
LeJeune is a veteran teacher with 28-years of experience in the classroom.
She currently teaches junior high and high school Religion classes. She also serves as the Religion Administrator for the high school.
Although she joined the St. Edmund Faculty only eight-years ago, she has an extensive history as a BlueJay.
LeJeune and her two children, Lauren and Trey, are alumni of St. Edmund. Michelle is married to Robert LeJeune.

The St. Edmund Elementary Teacher of the Year is Dana Manuel Landry.
Landry, a 1988 graduate of St. Edmund High, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from McNeese State.
She began her teaching career at St. Edmund School in 2003. She has taught 7th and 8th grade English and Louisiana history for the past 9 years and also 6th grade reading, English, spelling and Social Studies for the past three years.
She is currently the sponsor of the Elementary Jr. Beta Club.
Landry is married to Kal Landry and the couple has 4 children, Joshua, a seventh-grader; Justin, a fifth-grader; and John, a second-grader, all students at St. Edmund, and Jackson.
