St. Edmund students place a Quiz Bowl Tourney

On March 5, Mary Anne Bergeron, St. Edmund High Quiz Bowl sponsor, traveled with six St. Ed’s students to participate in the Bouillion-Harris Diocesan Varsity Quiz Bowl Tournament. Ten Catholic High Schools from across the Lafayette Diocese participated in the tournament held at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau. Senior and Captain Sammie Parks and juniors Dylan Bieber (co-captain), Alex Marcantel, Logan Fontenot, Hunter Thibodeaux, and John Hansen Fruge represented St. Edmund, with Logan Fontenot being the school’s “High Scorer” of the day.
