St. Francis DARE graduation & essay winners

The fifth-grade class at St. Francis School recently participated in a DARE Graduation. Det. Cathy Savant of Acadia Parish Sheriff Department was guest speaker and made a DARE presentation. An essay contest was held in each class; Grace Simon and Madisun Lacombe were the winners. Amelie Armand won the license plate contest. All received a prize for their accomplishments. Brylee Siebert was also recognized as Student of the Year. Receiving certificates of completion of the DARE program were, in front from left Coy Steen, Tanner Savoie, Kate McDaniel, Griffin Hebert, and Caitlin Fruge.
