Summer Cultural Camp at Jean Lafitte Center

Jean Lafitte Park Ranger Angelle Bellard assists Luke Green, left, with a crawfish trap craft. The craft involved a small piece of flexible netting, cardboard cut into a ring, and a freezer type tape. The Summer Cultural Camp for kids at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve’s Prairie Acadian Cultural Center is underway until Friday. Children, ages 9-12, registered for the cultural camp which will include creating crafts and arts of Louisiana.
