Tate, Richard announce August wedding date

Jackie Verrette of Mamou and Wyatt Tate of Mamou are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtnei Paige Tate, to Wesley Scott Richard, son of Scotty and Jana Richard of Eunice.
Miss Tate is the granddaughter of Loretta and L.D. Verrette of Mamou, Earline Miller and the late Gerald Miller of Eunice, Theresa and Farrar Tate of Alexandria.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mamou High School and LSU at Alexandria where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She is currently attending UL at Lafayette.
Mr. Richard is the grandson of the late Ira Richard and Pat Richard of Eunice, and the late Bruce Miller and Hazel Miller of Eunice.
The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School, LSU Eunice, and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from LSU Baton Rouge.
He is currently employed at LA Retirement System.
The couple will exchange vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, August 6 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou.
