Teen Kittles wins Best Actress

Shiloh Kittles, 13, took home the Best Actress award during the annual Eunice Players’ Irving Awards. Kittles portrayed the character of Anne Frank in the play of “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
Anne’s father, Otto Frank, was portrayed by Kittles father John D. Kittles.
Kittles is one of only a few Eunice child actors to win a Best Actress award. She has been active with theatres in Eunice and Crowley since 2010. She played minor roles in “What the Bellhop Saw” and “Humpty Dumpty is Missing” at EPT, and in “Neverland Christmas Carol” and “The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus” in Crowley.
Last summer she participated in EPT’s children’s production “Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective” as a British-speaking tree. She has also assisted back stage on many productions.
Kittles is an eighth-grade home-schooled student. Her parents are John and Melody Kittles.
The cast and crew of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” were named winners, as Brett Faulkner and Jeremy Faulkner took home a win for Best Set, and Noah Kittles and Ian Bellon won for Best Lighting and Sound.
