What’s happening this summer at Eunice Public Library

The following are the summer schedule and activities at the Eunice Public Library.
There will be summer reading programs and activities for children, teens and as well for adults.
 Summer Reading Program registration begins on May 31, and the last day to register is July 2.
Summer Reading ends on July 30. (Last day to turn in reading log). There will be a closing ceremony for all children who participated in Summer Reading program on Aug. 3.
Eunice Public Library offers Summer Story Time every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for ages 2-6. The dates are: June 8, June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27. Children can listen to a story, read by a guest, create a craft and enjoy a snack.
There will be free summer performances for children beginning with “Mitch the Magician,” on July 12 at 10 a.m. at the library. “Geebo the Clown” will be at the library on July 14 at 11 a.m.
 Activities for children, ages 7-12, are scheduled at the library.  Make and take craft (no sign up necessary) is set for June 3 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
 Book Bingo (no sign up necessary) is scheduled June 10 at 10:30 a.m.
A movie, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”(sign up requested) is set for June 14 from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
 Design your own zipper bracelet (registration required) is set June 23 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.     
Rhythm & Soul Dance Workshop (registration required) is set for June 28 at 10 a.m.                                              
Airplane Workshop (registration required) is scheduled on July 7 at 10:30 a.m.
A movie, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days”  (sign up requested) is set for July 19, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Teen activities at the library will include:
 Make and take craft (no sign up necessary) set for June 3 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
A movie, “Hunger Games“ and “Catching Fire (sign up requested) is scheduled June 17 from 10:30 a.m. until.
A library Scavenger Hunt (registration required) is scheduled for June 21 from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.
A movie, “Mockingjay 1 and 2” (sign up requested) is set for July 8 from 10:30 a.m. until.
Be Creative Workshop (sign up required) is set for July 21 from 10:30 am to 11:30 a.m.
Adult activities at the library include:
Beginners Genealogy workshop (sign up requested) scheduled June 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Pampered Chef demonstration (sign up requested ) is set July 15 from 1 to 2 p.m.
