Central Middle School’s Star Citizen Club participated in American Education Week themed “Great Public Schools.” These club members read inspirational messages each morning. They discussed the Vision Statement and Mission Statement of the school.

East Elementary second grade students in Kelly Fontenot’s class were treated to a guest teacher. Principal Dwanetta Scott read a reading lesson with the students.

This week’s Student of the Week is Jeremy R. Edwards, a seventh-grader at Eunice Junior High School. His mother is Andrea Edwards.

The top readers for St. Francis School are students who have read and earned more points than fellow classmates on Accelerated Reading tests for the first nine weeks of school. These readers were rewarded with a Pizza Party for their effort.
