East Elementary students cheer these honored during September’s Operation Greatness celebration. Students honored were those who demonstrated positive strides in character, attitude and conduct in class as well as top Math scores.
This week’s Student of the Week is Cabot Soileau, a sixth-grader at Central Middle. His parents are Tony and Monique Soileau.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Grammy Nominated Nouveaux Cajun Xpress.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Show starts at 6 p.m.
Admission is $5.
