Eunice native and business man, Phillip DeVillier, announced that he is running for District 41 state representative.
DeVillier is a member of the NRA, Delta Waterfowl and the National Turkey Association.
DeVillier was born and raised in Eunice. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he moved back to Eunice to work with his father’s house moving business where he spent years as an apprentice before eventually starting his own house moving business, DeVillier House Movers, more than 12 years ago. DeVillier also owns a property rental and development business dealing with residential development, Savannah Claire, Inc.
DeVillier is married to Lisa Savoy DeVillier, his high school sweetheart. They have three children, Savannah, Jillian and Cooper. They are members of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
DeVillier graduated from St. Edmund High School, attended LSUE. He went on to graduate from LSU Baton Rouge, with a bachelor of science in business management.
The District 41 election will be held Oct. 24. House District 41 encompasses parts of Acadia, Evangeline and St. Landry parishes including the Eunice, Church Point, Basile and Iota.
