Eunice VFW post hosts District 7 workshop

Veterans of Foreign Wars All-American Post 8971 Eunice Louisiana Post Commander Terry Matte held a District 7 workshop.
Posts that attended the workshop were Post 2483 and Auxiliary Opelousas, Post 3803 Ville Platte and Auxiliary, Post 5153 Arnaudville and Auxiliary, Post 6720 Crowley and auxiliary, Post 8678 Port Barre and members of Post 8971 and Auxiliary.
District 7 Commander Hillery Hill and Senior Vice Commander Gene J. Olivier discussed the Students Scholarship Program such as Americanism, Patriot Pen, Voice of Democracy for the year 2015-2016. Other programs such as Buddy Poppy, Membership Program was discuss.
A meal was provided by Post 8971 to all members that attended.
