Gov. Edwards announces appointments to boards commissions

On Monday, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to several Louisiana boards and commissions.
Edwards announced appointments to the following boards and commissions:
State Board of Commerce and Industry
Jeffery J. Arnold, of New Orleans, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Arnold is a former Louisiana State Representative and is the director of institutional banking and senior vice president at First NBC Bank in New Orleans.
Glenn L. Brasseaux, of Carencro, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Brasseaux is the mayor of the City of Carencro and was nominated by the Louisiana Municipal Association.
Rickey L. Fabra, of Metairie, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Fabra is the assistant director/Gulf Coast Operations at North America’s Building Trades Unions.
Jerald N. “Jerry” Jones, of St. Francisville, was reappointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Jones is a partner at Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea LLC in Baton Rouge.
Heather L. Malone, of Vidalia, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Malone is the economic cevelopment director of the City of Vidalia.
C. Robert “Robby” Miller Jr., of Hammond, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Miller is the Tangipahoa Parish president and has over 24 years of experience in the technology field.
Jan Moller, of Baton Rouge, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Moller is the director of the Louisiana Budget Project in Baton Rouge.
Daniel J. Schexnaydre Jr., of Hammond, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Schexnaydre is the vice president of Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services in LaPlace.
Bobby E. Williams Jr., of Ruston, was appointed to the State Board of Commerce and Industry. Williams is a vice president at Origin Bank in Ruston.
Louisiana Commission for the Deaf
Jason “Jay” Isch, of Lafayette, was appointed to the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. Isch is a support service provider with the Affiliated Blind of Louisiana. Isch will serve as a deaf representative on the commission.
Jimmy C. Gore, of Baton Rouge, was appointed to the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. Prior to his retirement in 2014, Gore was an English sign language instructor at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Gore will serve as a deaf representative on the commission.
Rana I. Ottallah, of Metairie, was appointed to the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. Ottallah is a parent guide with Louisiana By Your Side. She will serve as a parent of a deaf child on the commission.
Jeri A. Pilk, of Baton Rouge, was appointed to the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. Pilk will serve as a parent of a deaf child on the commission.
Melodie A. Sparks, of Gonzales, was appointed to the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf. Sparks is the assistant director at Deaf Focus and will serve as a professional representative on the commission.
Crime Victims Reparations Board
Amanda E. Tonkovich, of New Orleans, was reappointed to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Tonkovich is a therapist and SART coordinator with New Orleans Family Justice Center. Tonkovich will serve as the representative of the 2nd Congressional District.
Rena M. Hebert, of Lafayette, was appointed to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Hebert is a program director with the Elderly Crime Victims Assistance Program for the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Hebert will serve as the representative of the 3rd Congressional District.
Ernest N. Morial-New Orleans Exhibition Authority
Ronald C. “Ron” Guidry Sr., of New Orleans, was appointed to the Ernest N. Morial-New Orleans Exhibition Authority. Mr. Guidry is the owner of the Ronald C. Guidry Sr. Agency, an Allstate Insurance Agency. Guidry will serve as an at-large member on the board.
Capital Area Human Services District
Kathy M. D’Albor, of Plaquemine, was reappointed to the Capital Area Human Services District. D’Albor is a supervisor at the Iberville Parish School Board and will serve as a representative of Iberville Parish.
Stacey B. Morales, of Addis, was appointed to the Capital Area Human Services District. Morales has a master of science in rehabilitation counseling and is a certified vocational rehabilitation counselor at First Baptist Church of Addis. She will serve as a representative of West Baton Rouge Parish.
Council for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL)
Warren A. Perrin, of Lafayette, was reappointed to the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana. Perrin is an attorney with Perrin Landry deLaunay in Lafayette.
