New Orleans chef Paul Prudhomme has died

Prudhomme was a St. Landry Parish native

New Orleans chef Paul Prudhomme, known around the world for his Cajun cuisine and line of spices, has died, The Advocate reported.
He was 75.
Prudhomme’s death was confirmed by his restaurant, K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen, WWL said. A representative said the chef died after a brief illness.
