St. Landry Parish burn ban lifted

Due to improved conditions throughout St. Landry Parish, Parish President Bill Fontenot is lifting the parish wide burn ban effective immediately. The St. Landry Parish president and St. Landry Parish fire chief’s thanked everyone for their cooperation during this time and ask all to continue to be cautious and courteous when performing any type burning, a news release stated.
