Students were returning to class around 11:30 a.m. following a bomb threat at Central Middle School Thursday morning.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said a note was found in a bathroom by a student.
Parents are being asked to not pick up their child at this point, Fontenot told KATC. "All kids are accounted for and safe," added Fontenot.
The school day would continue as normal, Claudia Blanchard, an assistant superintendent with the St. Landry Parish School Board said.
Fontenot said the building was searched by officers and nothing out of the ordinary was found, nothing suspicious.
The students were served lunch after they returned to school.
