Teen, 13, faces more sex charges

Eunice Police arrested a 13-year-old male on Monday for attempted first-degree rape and sexual battery.
The arrest is the second time police have charged the teen with sex crimes.
On May 20, the teen was charged with two counts of first-degree rape, one count of aggravated rape and one count of sexual battery.
The May charges involved a 5-year-old and 8-year-old who were attacked on May 7, according to Sgt. Stephanie Myers.
The teen is accused of raping both children and forcing the oldest child to perform sex acts on the younger child, Myers said.
The 8-year-old was choked by the teen as a way of forcing the child to perform sexual acts on the 5-year-old, Myers said.
In the latest arrest, the teen is accused of forcing his victim, also 13, to remove his pants to perform oral sex, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
The victim was able to get away from the offender, Fontenot said.
