Simon, Gautreaux announce wedding engagement
Amy Nicole Simon will become the bride of Damian Jude Gautreaux, both of Crowley, during a 7 p.m. candlelight
ceremony on October 25, 2008. Officiating their vows will be Pastor Joe Talhelm of the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Peggy Simon and Richard and Janice Meaux, all of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Joseph and Loraine Meaux of Crowley and step-granddaughter of Huey and Billie Foreman, also of Crowley; and the late Edwin and Edna Simon of Lyons Point.
Amy is a 1997 graduate of Crowley High School and attend Remington College where she earned an associate of science degree in paralegal legal assistance. She is currently employed with Kevin Millican, Attorney at Law in Jennings. Amy is also the mother of seven year old, Sagan Simon.
The prospective groom is the son of Richard and Velma Gautreaux of Crowley. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gautreaux of Crowley and Mr. Wilson Thibodeaux of Lafayette and the late Rose M. Thibodeaux.
Damian is a 2000 graduate of Notre Dame High School and is an active member of the Crowley Fire Department since 2001.
Following the wedding the couple will reside in Crowley.
