Delta representatives visit DHS

Representatives from Delta Community College recently visited the dual enrollment English 101 class which is being offered by the college to students at Delhi High School this semester.

Students were welcomed to their new status as community college students by Karen Harmon, division chair for arts and humanities; Tanya Epperson, academic outreach coordinator; and Cameron Brister from the information technology department.

Students were also photographed for their Delta Community College identification cards. These cards entitle students to all of the privileges enjoyed by on-campus students, including use of library facilities and admission to student functions.

Upon successful completion of the English 101 class, students will earn three hours of college credit as well as high school credit for English IV.
