Mamou arrests

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made eight arrests recently.

The following persons were charged:

•Yvette M. Richard, 44, 334 Fred St., Mamou, was charged February 7, with theft of goods. Richard bonded out of jail the same day.

•Tiffany R. Demairibus, 27, 224 Cross St., Mamou, was charged February 7, with theft of goods. Demairibus bonded out of jail the same day.

•Shane D. Porche, 32, 1181 Buzz Lane, Mamou, was charged February 7, with theft of goods. Porche bonded out of jail the same day.

•Kelli Fusilier, 31, 470 Railroad, Mamou, was charged on February 8, with theft by shoplifting. Fusilier bonded out of jail.

•Misty Guillot, 35, 513 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged on February 9, with simple battery (two counts). Guillot remained in jail at press time.

•Jacob Brent Perron, 21, 1195 Yves Lane, Ville Platte, was charged February 9, with remaining after being forbidden. No bonding information was available.

•Hunter Elliott, 23, 2004 Ball Park Road, Mamou, was charged February 9, with simple battery. Elliott bonded out of jail.

•August Castelle Jr., 43, 6278 Grand Prairie Road., Ville Platte, was charged on February 9, with remaining after being forbidden. Castelle remained in jail at press time.
