Himel, McGee set wedding date

Lisa Duplechin Christ of Eunice and Herlin Ray Himel of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Anne-Marie Himel, to Tyler Blaine McGee, son of Daryl and Patreace McGee of Vidrine.
Miss Himel is the granddaughter of Gene and Pris Duplechin of Eunice and the late Vernell Duplechin.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and McNeese State University. She is presently employed as a Registered Nurse at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Mr. McGee is the grandson of Glenn and Margie McGee of Bayou Chicot, the late Rita Deshotel McGee, Terrel and Florence Deshotel of Ville Platte, and Sue Deshotel of Vidrine.
The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and is currently employed with Cleco in Eunice.
The couple will exchange vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice.
