East Elementary welcomes special visitor

East Elementary third-graders welcomed a guest speaker Staff Sgt. Paul Breaux, a native of Church Point. Breaux, a 1991 graduate of Church Point High, has completed 20 years of military service with U.S. Army. He completed two tours, Iraq for 18 months; and Desert Storm. Breaux talked about his military duties & adventures, and different equipment used in combat. The third-graders, completed a Veterans Day study recently. A question & answer forum was conducted during Breaux’s visitation. Breaux currently works in Supply & Logistics with Lafayette National Guard, B Company (MI) 256 BSTB.
