Manjot Singh named Eunice High School Student of the Year.
Singh, a senior, maintains a 4.0 GPA and is actively involved in clubs, and many activities at the high school campus.
Singh, fondly called by his fellow classmates as “Goldie,” is a member of Student Council, Vice President of FBLA, three year member of the Tennis team, four year member of Renaissance Club, National Honor Society member, member of Quiz Bowl, Science Club Vice President, and 4-H Club member.
Singh received 4.0 Golden Honor Roll Award, Eunice High Top Cat Award, and Eunice High Scholar Athlete award.
He placed first at the LA State Social Studies Fair, first place at FBLA District V-Cyber Security; first place at St. Landry Math Rally in Geometry; placed second at LSUE District Rally-Advanced Math, received a Superior Rating at FBLA District V-Tech Concepts.
Singh received the ACE Letterman Award, and an ACT 28+Club member. He earned a ACT score of 33 and currently holds a 4.04 GPA.
Singh is the son of Gurbaksh Singh and Parveen Kaur and the younger brother to Vik Singh.
