Lady Cats earn parish third seed, Bobcats are sixth

LEBEAU – The Eunice Lady Bobcats earned a No. 3 seed in the 2013 St. Landry Parish basketball tournament to be held at North Central.
The tournament begins Wednesday and will conclude on Saturday.
The North Central Lady Hurricanes are the top seed and will receive a first-rouond bye.
No. 4 Port Barre will open the tournament at 3:30 p.m. against No. 5 Beau Chene.
The winner of that game will face defending parish champions North Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
No. 3 Eunice will take on No. 6 Opelousas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The winner of that game will take on No. 2 Northwest at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
The loser of the EHS/OHS game will face the Port Barre/Beau Chene loser at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The girls championship game will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
On the boys side, Beau Chene is the top seed and will sit the opening round of the tournament.
No. 2 Port Barre will also rest in the first round.
No, 6 Eunice will take on No. 3 Opelousas at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The winner will take on Port Barre at 5 p.m. on Friday.
No. 4 Northwest will face No. 5 North Central at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Northwest/North Central loser will take on the OHS/EHS loser at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Northwest/North Central winner will face top-seed Beau Chene at 8 p.m. on Friday.
The boys championship game will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
