Frank encourages volunteerism

St. Landry Parish School Board President and Attorney Josie Frank recently volunteered several hours at East Elementary as part of an initiative in which she encouraged board members, business owners and parents to share quality time with students through volunteerism. Frank read during a story time in Alcinda Pierre’s kindergarten class. She also visited with Principal Dwanetta Scott, visited classrooms, and escorted students to and from the cafeteria where she dined with students.
